THE

WILDHEARTED

CREATIVE

WELCOME, ADVENTURERS!

I'm here for the people and places behind the photographs, to dive into the nitty gritty funny moments of life that spark something unexplainable inside of us.

It's been a wild road, but being a photographer has been something I've been training for a long time. I studied Anthropology and Visuals Arts & Design in the mountains of Asheville, worked in a bookshop, then a garden shop in Auckland, before heading back home to my native Florida and picking up a camera full time.

My nana's eye for sculpture, drawing and storytelling, my grandma's love of birds and the first blooms of the spring bulbs, all the lines I've drawn, mystical dewy mornings I've crouched with wet knees examining a jeweled spiderweb, all the clicks, all the couples I've watched say yes to a lovetime of life (or is the other way around?) again and again- all this has led me here. I've got a calico set of skillsets, from working on a native wildflower restoration crew to sunburned summers photographing tourists, to helping tiny grandmothers who speak no English trust me with the sparkle in their eyes.

I believe that a true artist views each person, place or item with an open mind and heart. There's no such thing as unphotogenic people, there are photographers who are not experienced enough to bring out the best traits and personality of their subject.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone is beautiful, sometimes you just need to show them.
