Driving up the winding clay driveway to Lauren's grandparents farm was pure magic. All you see is a tunnel through the pines, but as you get closer you can see a cozy cabin peeking out above a quiet pond. Pecan nuts were falling from the trees above, signaling that autumn is approaching. I couldn't think of a more perfect place for these two wildhearted lovers to tie the knot. Daniel was a groomsmen for Sean + Claire's wedding, and we had an amazing evening for their Wekiva forest sunset engagement session, but it was really amazing seeing how much love and support their family and loved ones put into making their day amazing. Her uncle wired a chandelier into a barn, they handbuilt their wedding ceremony arch they stood before to say their vows, and there was everything from a s'mores bar to cornhole games. The biggest surprise of the day came from Lauren's dad- who brought her to the aisle on a white carriage led by two Belgian drafthorses.

The bride and groom's first dance was on my favorite kind of dancefloor- beneath the spreading Pecan trees, marketlights and one of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen. Thank you two Lauren & Daniel's families who were such gracious hosts of this amazing day.

The Ceremony

The Newlyweds

The Reception

Lauren + Daniel were married beneath a wedding arch built by her uncles on her grandparent's land overlooking a small pond. Thee danced beneath a sky worthy of a Van Gogh painting beneath a grove of pecan trees, market lights and adoring faces. During dinner, I got to chat with her Grandpa and hear the whole story of how he came to live there and the many summers spent with his granddaughter Lauren. There must be something magic in that red Georgia clay, because this is a place filled with dear memories. I was honored to be a part of telling the latest chapter in their family's legacy, and wish these two lovebirds the very best. #ForeverStrange
