I had so much fun working with Joy, who I have known since she was my dear friend Christy’s tiny little sister. She’s grown up into a soon to be graduating senior- Class of 2016! Joy has an awesome natural, bohemian style and celebrated her Swedish heritage by wearing a crown of dutch fishtail braids with her lovely long hair.
She has a huge love for animals and nature, and hopes to bring her passion for caring for horses and farm creatures into her career, and will be studying to become a large animal vet! We had a fun afternoon taking her senior photos in Orlando, where we started by an awesome oceanic mural on Hiawassee, and chased the sun to her favorite childhood scrub forest refuge, Shadow Bay Park.
Being surrounded by so much beautiful endemic scrub flora at this protected habitat was the perfect setting for a nature loving senior. Nature always inspires me as a photographer here in Central Florida. Joy’s gorgeous German Shepherd dog Jira joined us at the park, to join her in a few of her senior photos too!
