Joao & Nicole celebrated their engagement by exploring their favorite local Florida getaway- St. Augustine! I am always up for an excuse to travel- so I was excited for the invitation to explore a beautiful Florida’s historic side. Since Joao is a friend, we decided to make it a double date so Joshua came along too.
As a photographer, I love the freedom of being able to explore a new location with nothing but a map, a camera in hand and two wonderfully in love people to photograph. Having the luxury of a full afternoon and evening was extra fun! I can’t wait to share the rest of Joao & Nicole’s photos from our fun St. Augustine adventure.
This little series is taken by the streetside courtyard at the Augustine Inn, where they will tie the knot in Spring 2015.

Highlight of the day • Watching the re-enactors at the Castilo fire a rather small, but very real canon!
Lunch Date • Casa Maya – We ate on a lovely little New Orleans style balcony overlooking the cobblestone pedestrian streets. Great people watching, and their steak fajitas made for two very happy gents!
Wine Tasting • Vino del Grotto Florida Fruit Wine– orange blossom honey wine was a hit, and I love how they source as many organically, locally grown fruit products as possible. They even had carrot wine!
